Description
CDWU / Designed for ultrasonic cleaning processes´ routine control and monitoring ultrasonic cavitation effectiveness of ultrasonic washing machines.
Designed for ultrasonic cleaning processes´ routine control and monitoring ultrasonic cavitation effectiveness of ultrasonic washing machines operating at frequencies equal to or greater than 35 kHz, at temperatures ranging from 18 °C to 70 °C.
Characteristics
-2 ml clear glass vial: 31.0 mm high x 11.6 mm external diameter, 8.0 mm neck diameter. Wall thickness: 0.5 mm.
-Brown/Red rubber septum: 8.0 x 1.0 mm.
-Aluminum top cap: 5.5 mm high x 11.7 mm diameter. Wall thickness: 0.3 mm.
-Glass beads: 3.0 mm.
-Blue clear reactive solution: 1.5 ml.
Allows detection of deficiencies in the cavitation performance of the
ultrasonic washing machine.
A self-adhesive Record Card accompanies each vial where data about the ultrasonic washing control process can be recorded.
-Challenge level: high
-Initial Color: blue
-Result: yellow transparent solution
Instructions for use
Ultrasonic washers should be checked at least once per week and the results should be recorded. There are two types of tests (see figure) and CDWU indicator can be used in both:
-Periodic functional test: for initial set-up of the washing machine, and at regular intervals of three months or after a repair. The purpose of this test is to verify the uniform distribution of the cavitation process in the washer tank.
-Test routine: is performed weekly or daily, to verify that the cavitation works correctly. This test allows detecting a possible failure in the performance of the ultrasonic washing machine
