It is a lateral flow immunoassay capable of specifically discriminating IgG and IgM isotypes. Colloidal gold is conjugated to recombinant SARS-CoV-2 proteins. The membrane has two test lines (G and M) where each of the isotypes are detected. Tested anti-human IgG and anti-IgM are immobilized on each test line. Line C is an assay control.

How does the Sars-CoV-2 test work?
When the concentration of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies exceeds the minimum detection level of the test, a purple-pink-red line will appear in the test zone (G and/or M) of the device.
To make sure the detection process was successful, a purple-pink-red line will also appear in area C.
