Description
CD87-1000 / Self-adhesive labels printed with reactive ink to control disinfection processes by UV-C radiation up to 1000 mj/cm2. DOSIMETER.
Chemdye® ChemDose CD87-1000 chemical indicator has been specially developed to control disinfection processes by continuous UV-C radiation. It consists of a 15 mm diameter dot of self-adhesive synthetic substrate printed with reactive indicating ink.
The reactive indicating ink has been calibrated to experience different color changes depending on the accumulated radiation dose received, allowing to quickly and accurately control the efficacy of the disinfection process.
Instructions for use
1.Peel off Chemdye® ChemDose CD87-1000 chemical indicator from the roll and stick it on the surface which level of disinfection is pretended to be controlled. Use as many indicators as surfaces intended to be verified.
NOTE 1: it is recommended to distribute Chemdye® ChemDose CD87-1000 chemical indicators uniformly along the room to be disinfected, placing at least one per square meter. It is recommended to place Chemdye® ChemDose CD87-1000 chemical indicators not higher than 2 m over the floor level.
2.Leave the room and run a normal disinfection cycle.
3.Once the process has finished, contrast the final color of each Chemdye® ChemDose CD87-1000 chemical indicator used against the Results Reference Card provided and determine the accumulated radiation dose received.
NOTE 2: exposed and non-exposed Chemdye® ChemDose CD87-1000 chemical indicators must be kept protected from light.
