					<description><![CDATA[<p>The first step in proper cleaning of surgical instruments is to remove blood, body fluids, and tissues immediately after use. If cleaning is not performed<br />
properly, the disinfection/sterilization steps will not be effective, leading to the exposure of patients to contaminants such as body fluids, tissues from other patients, and microorganisms.</p>
<p>The Chemdye® PRO 1 ENDO Hygiene Monitoring System is designed to verify the cleanliness of cannulated instruments by detecting protein residues that may remain after the cleaning process. The system is used in conjunction with Chemdye® SWE high absorption swabs, specially designed for cannulated instruments. These swabs must be inserted through the internal<br />
channel of the cannulae to sample for contaminants that may remain after the cleaning process.</p>
<p>The Chemdye® PRO1 ENDO system provides quantitative results in the range of 1 to 50 μg of protein with a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.5 μg*, when incubated in the recommended Bionova® Auto-readers.</p>

<p>-Qualitative analysis: Incubate using the Bionova® IC10/20 incubator (temperature: 60± 2 º°C; 7 minutes) and interpret visually by using the reference guide available inside the product€™s box.</p>
<p>-Quantitative analysis: Using the Bionova® IC10/20FR, Bionova® IC10/20FRLCD or Bionova® MiniPro auto-reader incubators. Read the instructions for use of the device previously.</p>
<p>Incubation time: using the Bionova® IC10/20FR or the Bionova® IC10/20FRLCD auto-reader incubators: 7 minutes; using the Bionova® MiniPro auto-reader incubators: 4 minutes. Incubation range: 60± 2 °C.</p>
<p>Do not open until use. Do not reuse. Do not touch the swab or the inside of the device with your hands. Wear gloves, surgical mask and other hygiene measures.</p>
<p>Do not freeze. High concentrations of alkaline detergents may cause false negative results in some cases. Hydrogen peroxide-based disinfectants may cause a false positive color change reaction.</p>
<p>Although Chemdye® PRO1 MICRO has high sensitivity, it is not a microbiological monitoring device, and the surfaces should not be considered sterile according to the results obtained.</p>
